The Bajaj Chetak 2025’s design evokes nostalgia. Its full-metal body is IP67 water and dust resistant, making it durable. The horseshoe-shaped DRL light, round headlamp and smooth curves are reminiscent of the classic Chetak, but modern touches like LED lighting and colour options make it look futuristic. Available colours include Brooklyn Black, Hazelnut, Indigo Metallic, Matte Scarlet Red and Pista Green.
It weighs around 115 kg, making it easily manageable. The under-seat storage is 35 litres, which can easily fit a helmet, laptop bag or small groceries. There is also a 5-litre glovebox at the front. Safety has been taken into account in the design, such as disc brakes (front) and drum brakes (rear). The scooter is also comfortable for women and the elderly, as the seat height is 760 mm and the suspension gives a smooth ride. However, some users have found the front suspension to be a bit stiff. The entry-level 3001 has a 3 kWh battery, a range of 127 km and a top speed of 63 km/h. The 3503 variant has a range of 151 km, but the speed is limited to 63 km/h. Ride modes include Eco and Sports, which optimize battery life. The hill hold feature makes starting easier, especially on slopes. The reverse mode helps in parking.

In terms of performance, this scooter offers a silent and vibration-free ride. According to users, the real-world range is up to 120-140 km, depending on the driving style. The battery warranty is 5 years or 70,000 km, which adds to the confidence. In comparison, monthly savings with ICE scooters can be up to ₹5,000, as the running cost is much lower.
Smart Features
Chetak 2025 is not just a scooter but a smart mobility solution. Digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth, smartphone app support and turn-by-turn navigation, OTA (over-the-air) updates, battery and ride details from Chetak app, reverse assist mode will also be available to the customers.
