Nissan has launched the Nissan Qashqai 2025, introducing its popular SUV model in a new style. This car is a great combination of modern design, advanced technology and superior performance. This model in the SUV segment is for those who want to get style, comfort and safety together.

Design and Exterior: Modern and Attractive Look

The exterior design of the 2025 Nissan Qashqai is the result of a mid-life update, which makes it look more premium and sporty. The front grille is now larger and more expanded, inspired by Japanese samurai armor. The LED headlights have been re-profiled, including slim daytime running lights, which give the car a sharp and modern appearance. The rear has slimmer, monochrome lights that show a deeper red color when braking, and the bumper has also been redesigned. New alloy wheels are available from 18 inches to 20 inches, with the N-Design grade featuring body-colored sills and wheel arches, giving it a premium feel.

The overall length of the car is around 4.4 meters, which keeps it compact but spacious. The ride height is high, which gives a commanding view of the road. Colour options include vibrant shades like Pearl White, Magnetic Blue and Black. However, some reviews have called it ‘inoffensive’, meaning it’s not too bold but perfect for everyday driving. These design updates keep the Qashqai fresh in the market, especially when rivals like the Hyundai Tucson and Ford Kuga are also getting updated.

Nissan Qashqai 2025 Interior & Comfort

The interior of the Qashqai has been upgraded for 2025 with new materials, such as an Alcantara dash wrap, which feels quite nice. There are stitched faux-leather panels on the dashboard and doors, and ambient lighting (except in the entry-level trim) makes the interior look premium. The driver seat is comfortable, with a height and reach adjustable steering wheel, which gives a great driving position. Rear visibility is a bit limited, but standard rear parking sensors and a rear-view camera help. Higher trims get a 360-degree camera and front sensors.

In terms of space, it is ideal for families. The rear seats have good leg and head room, although rear-seat flexibility is limited – the seats fold but don’t slide. Boot space is 504 litres, which is enough for a wheelchair or shopping bags. Higher trims get an electric tailgate. Overall, the interior is smart, easy to use and has good build quality, offering better value than its rivals.

Nissan Qashqai 2025 Performance

Nissan Qashqai 2025 has a hybrid engine option, in which a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine is paired with an electric motor.

This combination gives excellent mileage and smooth driving experience. Also, it has multi-drive modes and advanced suspension system, which ensures a comfortable ride both in the city and on the highway.

Safety: Top-class protection

In safety, the Qashqai scored five stars in the 2021 Euro NCAP, with high marks in adult and child protection. Standard kit includes automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, driver attention alert, traffic-sign recognition, lane-keeping assistance and e-Call. e-Power and Tekna trims have ProPilot, which does self-steering on the motorway (with hands-on required) and adjusts speed from sat-nav data.

The ANCAP rating is also five stars, and there are three ISOFIX points for child seats. These features make the Qashqai safe for families, better than or equal to rivals.

Engine and performance: Efficient and smooth

The 2025 Qashqai has three engine options: the 1.3-litre DIG-T 140 mild-hybrid petrol (138bhp), its 156bhp version, and the e-Power system. The e-Power is a unique hybrid where the 1.5-litre petrol engine charges the battery, and a 187-202bhp electric motor drives the wheels – it feels like an EV without the range anxiety. The DIG-T 140 has a 0-60mph time of 10.2 seconds, which is adequate for city driving. The DIG-T 158 is 9.4 seconds, but it doesn’t feel much faster. The e-Power is the fastest, 0-62mph in 7.6 seconds, in Sport mode.

Ride comfort is best on 18-inch wheels; the bigger wheels take the edge off bumps. Handling is grippy, but not as fun as rivals like the Seat Ateca or Toyota C-HR. The steering is light, which is suitable for urban driving. The e-Power shines in fuel efficiency, although not class-leading. Overall, the engines are smooth, quiet and value for money.

Nissan Qashqai 2025 Price

The price of Qashqai 2025 can be estimated between ₹ 30 lakh to ₹ 35 lakh in the Indian market. With its powerful engine, luxurious interiors and high-tech safety features, this SUV can prove to be an excellent option in the premium segment.

Conclusion: Why choose the Qashqai 2025?

The Nissan Qashqai 2025 is an all-rounder – stylish, practical, efficient and tech-loaded. It is perfect for those who want value and comfort over dynamic driving. However, if you want more fun, the Ateca or C-HR may be better. Overall, this is a strong contender in the SUV market, making family life easier. If you are looking for a new car, then definitely test drive the Qashqai – it will not disappoint you.
